Kindergarten

Kindergarten 1 and 2 curriculum ( 5 and 6 years)

Our Kindergarten curriculum is structured to enhance the skills and knowledge that the children have already acquired. At this age, they have been introduced to language and literacy, math, numeracy, science and life skills. They are now more confident in conversing, articulating their meaning and expressing their ideas.

Our curriculum aims to provide purposeful learning through integrated lessons. For example, we continuously emphasise on personal and social development through the study of social etiquette, right and wrong, appreciation of rules, and diversity in values and cultures as at this age, children shows more self-regulated behaviours.

We strive to promote the children's curiosity and interest by leading them to active hands-on exploration and experiences such as problem-solving and discovery.

Once they are proficient with language and numeracy skills, we transition to make progress on reading, writing and communication. As they have a better understanding of the world, they also have a greater perception and appreciation for the the things aroung them. The children are expected to be an independent individual that is more confident, competent and mature to be able to work together with others in a group. We hope for them to become creative thinkers that appreciate the world, articulate communicators and eqquiped with the attitude and life skills required to meet new challenges, so that they will achieve future excellence.
