Partnership with Parents

Excursion and Events

Our centre believes that a child is constantly curious about the world that surrounds them and that it is our job to assist in their seach for knowledge. Hence, Starville has made it an effort to organise excursions and field trips once every 4 months for the children's benefit. We have visited places like the Science Centre and Aquarium whereby the children are given a few choices in terms of the activities that can be done. This is all in the effort to facilitate the child's learning.

Parent Teacher Meeting

We aim to have a meeting with parents during the end of the term to have a much more detailed communication of their child. Other than our communication book that is used to update the parents of their child's progress from time to time, we believe that a face-to-face interaction is much more effective in conveying our thoughts to each other.

Join the Group

Join us in our parents support group that we formed in 2005. The aim was to involve parents with the children's learning as they can be a good source of support and it could be a chance for the parents to learn more about the process of their child's development.
