Nursery 1 and 2 curriculum ( 3 and 4 years)

By this point of time, we want to inforce the learning of language, communication and vocabulary skills. Their fine and gross motor skills are also actively promoted together with personal, social and emotional development.

We have developed their curriculum to focus on their language, socio-emotional and cognitive development. We structured their learning to achieve the above through daily interactions, routines and transitions, material manipulation and dramatic play.

We then engage the children to pre-writing experiences to improve their ability of manipulating materials as they have a better control and coordination of their fine motor skills. We also try to begin introducing books and reading to the children as they start to acquire an awareness of numbers, concepts and math and explore the sounds of the alphabet.
